Privacy Policy

Featherfall · Last updated 28 July 2026

This policy explains what the Featherfall app collects, why, and what control you have over it. The short version: you can play the entire game without an account, and if you never sign in, nothing that identifies you leaves your device.

What the app collects

If you do not sign in, your best score is stored on your device only. No personal information is collected or transmitted.

If you sign in with Google to appear on the leaderboard, the app receives and stores your Google display name, email address, profile picture URL and account identifier. Your name, picture and best score are then shown publicly on the in-app leaderboard — that is the purpose of signing in, and the only reason this information is collected. You can sign out at any time from the leaderboard screen.

Automatically collected. The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the game is played and to diagnose crashes. These record events such as a run starting or ending, the score reached, and errors — along with device model, operating system version and app version. No personal identifiers are attached to these events.

Advertising. The app displays ads through Google AdMob, which may access your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads.

Who processes it

Google, through Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics and AdMob. Their handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Your data is not sold, and is not shared with anyone else.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Your choices

Security
